Products Installation
The “Westernpips Application Center” (WAC) software is used to install Westernpips products.
WAC documentation (installation and operating instructions) is provided in the corresponding chapter.
Prerequisites
Westernpips products require the following components:
- .NET Desktop Runtime 9
- ASP.NET Core Runtime 9
- Microsoft redistributable packages

Minimal configuration allows to run up to 8 trading strategies without charting and backtesting. Guarantied fast execution for 2 strategies maximum. Execution is getting worse with running additional strategies above 2. Backtesting is very slow.
Recommended configuration allows to run up to 16 trading strategies with minimal charting. Guarantied fast execution for 8 strategies maximum. Backtesting performance is normal.
High performance configuration allows to run up to 32 trading strategies with charting and high backtesting performance. Guarantied fast execution for 16 strategies maximum.
Note
It is very strict recommendation to use only dedicated servers with guarantied CPU resources.
Installation Troubleshotings
Microsoft Defender Smart Screen Protection
Microsoft Defender Smart Screent can not allow to run applications downloaded from the Internet. To allow application need to run application, then need to click “More info” link:
And then click “Run anyway” button:
Downloading throubleshooting
Browser can ask about the source’s reliability during download applications from Internet. Need to accept any possible warnings and allow browser to download application:
If the browser does not allow to download application by clicking downloading link, neet to press right mouse button on the link and choose “Save link as”:
If the browser warns about an unsecured download, allow it by pressing “Keep” link:
