- Connect your broker and a fast feed: add accounts in Connections, use the EA connector for broker terminals, and check which quote feed is faster.
- Choose a strategy and test it: start with OneLeg, record quotes and test settings in the BackTester, then trade a demo or the minimum lot first.
Frequently asked questions
What is Westernpips Private 7?
Westernpips Private 7 is HFT latency arbitrage software: a multi-terminal that connects fast data feeds and broker or liquidity provider accounts over TCP, FIX and API, detects moments when a broker price lags and executes the built-in strategies in milliseconds. It includes a Back Tester for testing settings on recorded ticks and is sold as a lifetime licence. Product details are on westernpips.com.
What are the system requirements?
A VPS with Windows Server 2022 or later, 2–4 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM and an 80 GB disk. Choose a VPS in the same data centre as your broker server for the lowest latency. Details: system requirements.
Which brokers and platforms are supported?
Broker terminals on the M4 and M5 platforms (directly over TCP or through the EA connector), cTrader, and FIX or API connectors to liquidity providers, aggregators, exchanges and crypto venues such as LMAX, Integral, PrimeXM, oneZero, Cboe, Rithmic, Binance and OKX. The available connectors depend on your plan. See connectors.
How is the licence activated?
After payment, enter the e-mail from your Client Agreement in the Login section of the program and click Request Activation. Activation usually takes 1–3 days, or from 1 hour if you ask support to speed it up. Step by step: licence activation and login.
Do you provide settings files?
Yes, example preset files are included. Each broker has its own spread, commission and execution, so settings should be adapted: record quotes, test them in the BackTester and start with a small volume.
